What the Session Is

Compassionate Inquiry is a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. It supports you in exploring what lies beneath your behaviours, emotional responses, coping mechanisms, and recurring patterns of self-protection.

Rather than asking “What is wrong with me?”, Compassionate Inquiry invites a gentler question: “What happened within me, and what did my system learn to do in order to survive, belong, or stay safe?”

This session offers a compassionate and non-judgmental space to explore your inner world with more clarity, curiosity, and self-understanding.

Who the Session Is For

This session is for individuals who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, stuck in repeating patterns, or unsure why certain reactions, relationships, or beliefs keep showing up.

It may support you if you experience self-doubt, people-pleasing, perfectionism, burnout, emotional triggers, nervous system dysregulation, inner child wounds, or recurring relationship patterns.

What We Will Explore

Together, we may explore the beliefs, emotions, body responses, and protective patterns that sit beneath your current challenge.

The session may include reflective inquiry, somatic awareness, and gentle exploration of how earlier experiences may still shape the way you relate to yourself, others, work, love, safety, and belonging.

The intention is not to force insight or fix who you are. It is to create space for what has been carried beneath the surface to be seen with compassion.

Ready to explore what lies beneath the surface, with compassion rather than judgment?
