What the Career Breakthrough Programme Is
Career Breakthrough Programme is a four-session trauma-informed coaching programme for professionals who feel stuck, blocked, or unable to access their full capacity at work, even when they are capable, qualified, and clear on what they want on paper.
This programme is grounded in two complementary frameworks. Compassionate Inquiry gently explores the beliefs, emotions, and early adaptations beneath a present-day block: the meaning you may have made, often long ago, about what is safe to want, to show, or to become.
Polyvagal and nervous-system-informed work attends to the physiological states underneath those patterns: the activation, overwhelm, freeze, or shutdown that may quietly shape how safe it feels to move forward, take up space, make decisions, or be seen.
Together, these create change that does not rely on willpower, pressure, or forcing yourself into action. We work with your nervous system rather than against it.
Who This Programme Is For
This programme is for professionals, consultants, founders, creatives, coaches, or high-functioning individuals who feel ready for a professional shift, but sense that something internal is holding them back.
It may support you if you feel unclear, blocked, overwhelmed by too many ideas, afraid to be visible, stuck in procrastination, caught in perfectionism, or unable to trust your own direction.
It is also for those who have achieved a lot externally, but internally feel disconnected from their confidence, voice, ambition, or next professional identity.
Programme Structure
Session 1: Mapping the Career Block
We begin with where you are now: what feels unclear, where you feel stuck, and what you sense is possible but cannot quite reach. Alongside the external picture, we notice what happens inside you when you imagine moving forward. Through a Polyvagal-informed lens, we explore which nervous system state may be showing up: the restless activation of anxiety and overthinking, or the heavier pull of procrastination, freeze, and shutdown. Naming the state is the first step. It tells us what your system may be responding to.
Session 2: The Protective Patterns Behind the Block
Using Compassionate Inquiry, we look beneath the behaviour: perfectionism, people-pleasing, fear of failure, fear of success, fear of visibility, or difficulty trusting your own choices. These patterns are not treated as flaws. They are explored as adaptations: strategies that may have once helped you stay safe, accepted, approved of, or connected. We explore the quiet trade-off between authenticity and belonging, and what it may have cost you professionally, emotionally, or creatively.
Session 3: Visibility, Self-Trust & Inner Permission
This session explores what arises when you begin to take up more space professionally. We may work with visibility wounds, the inner critic, family or cultural expectations, fear of judgment, and the parts of you that register being seen, choosing differently, or wanting more as unsafe. Here, nervous system work is central. We build a greater sense of internal safety so that self-trust and inner permission grow from a more regulated state, rather than from force, urgency, or pressure.
Session 4: Integration & Grounded Next Step
We gather what has emerged and translate it into a grounded next step. This may be a decision, a direction, a boundary, a visibility move, a business idea, a job transition, or a clearer relationship with the work you already have. Because story follows state, we anchor the next step in nervous system steadiness, so your movement forward comes from clarity, self-awareness, and alignment rather than panic, pressure, or overcompensation.
What You Walk Away With
You will leave with a clearer understanding of what is actually driving your career block, a more regulated relationship with visibility and risk, and a concrete next step that feels aligned with your nervous system, values, and professional direction.
You may also gain deeper awareness of the emotional patterns, protective strategies, and limiting beliefs that have shaped how you relate to ambition, success, visibility, money, responsibility, and your own capacity.
