Coaching sessions to help you explore what is underneath your emotions, patterns, and limiting beliefs. At Saya Healing, a session is never about fixing yourself, but understanding how what happened to you shaped who you are today.
Grounded in Compassionate Inquiry, Polyvagal Theory, and inner child work
At Saya Healing, each session is tailored to understand the root of your big emotions or your inability to feel them. Guided by the principle that healing is never linear, there is no fixed target here.
Healing is not about fixing anything within you, because you are not broken. It is about understanding how what happened to you at a certain age shaped who you are today.
At Saya Healing, sessions are grounded in Compassionate Inquiry, Polyvagal Theory, somatic awareness, and inner child healing.
Compassionate Inquiry is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that helps uncover unconscious beliefs, emotional patterns, and coping mechanisms formed in childhood, often as a response to stress or unmet needs.
By bringing awareness to these patterns with compassion rather than judgment or self-blame, you begin to understand yourself more deeply and relate to yourself in a different way. The Compassionate Inquiry approach invites a person to deep dive within and see their little and young self from a place of compassion and love.
Polyvagal Theory was developed by Dr. Stephen Porges. It looks at how the nervous system reacts in different settings and explores the experience of safety and unsafety in the body.
Because each nervous system responds differently, what feels safe for one person may not feel safe for another. At Saya Healing, each session becomes a gate to understand your reactions as a response to unsafety and to explore the root of feeling unsafe even when there is no real threat present.
Conscious Parenting is a parenting methodology developed by Dr. Shefali Tsabary. It is rooted in the belief that a parent’s reaction is often more about their own unhealed wounds than the child’s behaviour.
It is not about correcting a child or teaching parents how to make a child behave. It invites parents to regulate themselves so they can connect with their child and understand what the child needs in moments of challenge.
Mima is a trauma-informed coach. She is a Compassionate Inquiry Certified Coach, Polyvagal Theory Certified, and a Conscious Parenting Certified Coach. She is also an Inner Child Healing Practitioner.
Mima works deeply rooted in understanding the inner child. She built her own inner child approach from her healing journey that began when her mother passed away in 2015.
She approaches healing from a place of patience and compassion. Her motto is: “Healing is like peeling an onion, layer by layer, patiently yet consistently. Sometimes we have to pause because of unbearable tears. Yet, we continue because we need to have the onion.”
“The onion” for Mima is the inner child. We can have compassion towards our little self, but it takes courage and patience to finally meet and accept who they really are with all the love we could ever have.
Mima created Saya Healing in 2025 as a space where people can feel safe, co-regulate their nervous system, and begin to understand themselves more deeply. This work does not follow a fixed timeline. It is rooted in the belief that healing unfolds in its own way and at its own pace.
Mima’s approach is gentle, honest work. It is not about fixing who you are, because you are not broken. She is there to witness your journey back to yourself and support you in building an inner sense of home grounded in compassion and awareness.
Each session gives you space to explore a specific theme, understand the emotional patterns underneath it, and reconnect with your body with more compassion and awareness.
Some sessions are designed as focused 60-minute healing spaces, while others offer a deeper 90-minute exploration depending on the theme.
Many clients begin with one session and choose to continue the work over time.
A 60-minute reflective session designed to explore what lies beneath emotional reactions, recurring patterns, protective behaviours, and the ways we learned to survive.
Rather than trying to fix or judge what shows up, this session gently supports you in understanding the deeper emotions, beliefs, and younger parts behind your present-day responses.
Book this sessionA guided journey to meet, understand, and begin healing the younger part of you that still carries old wounds, fears, and unmet emotional needs.
Through compassionate inquiry, somatic awareness, and inner child work, we explore the beliefs and survival patterns that may have shaped the way you see yourself, relate to others, and move through life.
This work is not about fixing yourself. It is about creating a safer relationship with the parts of you that have been waiting to be seen, heard, and held.
Book this packageDesigned for individuals experiencing emotional exhaustion, chronic stress, difficulty slowing down, or recurring cycles of pressure, over-responsibility, and self-abandonment.
This reflective session explores the emotional and behavioural patterns that often exist beneath burnout, including perfectionism, people-pleasing, emotional suppression, hyper-independence, and disconnection from personal needs.
Through guided reflective inquiry, nervous system education, somatic grounding practices, and integrative coaching, the session supports participants in developing greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and more sustainable ways of relating to work, responsibility, and themselves.
Book this sessionA session to explore how your own childhood experiences may be showing up in your parenting, especially through triggers, emotional reactions, guilt, control, or disconnection.
Together, we look at the deeper patterns underneath your responses so you can meet your child with more awareness, regulation, and compassion.
Because a child's behaviour is often a form of communication, this session helps you understand not only your child, but also the inner child within you who may still be asking for care.
Book this sessionExplore how your past experiences shape the way you relate, attach, protect yourself, and respond in relationships.
In this session, we look beyond surface reactions to uncover recurring patterns, including the ways you may repeat familiar dynamics, feel drawn to emotionally unavailable people, struggle with boundaries, or respond from fear rather than safety.
Together, we bring awareness to the deeper emotional imprints behind these patterns so you can begin to understand what your nervous system has learned about connection, safety, and love.
Book this sessionFor professionals who feel stuck, unclear, emotionally blocked, or unable to move forward despite knowing they are capable of more.
In this session, we explore what sits underneath the block, whether it is self-doubt, fear of visibility, perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, or an old belief that keeps you from fully trusting yourself.
You will leave with more clarity, grounded self-awareness, and a deeper understanding of what has been holding you back internally.
