Coaching sessions and programmes to help you explore what is underneath your emotions, patterns, and limiting beliefs. At Saya Healing, the work is never about fixing yourself, but understanding how what happened to you shaped who you are today.
Grounded in Compassionate Inquiry, Polyvagal Theory, Conscious Parenting, and inner child work
At Saya Healing, each session or programme is tailored to understand the root of your big emotions or your inability to feel them. Guided by the principle that healing is never linear, there is no fixed target here.
Healing is not about fixing anything within you, because you are not broken. It is about understanding how what happened to you at a certain age shaped who you are today.
At Saya Healing, sessions and programmes are grounded in Compassionate Inquiry, Polyvagal Theory, somatic awareness, Conscious Parenting, and inner child healing.
What is Compassionate Inquiry?Compassionate Inquiry is a therapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté that helps uncover unconscious beliefs, emotional patterns, and coping mechanisms formed in childhood, often as a response to stress or unmet needs.
By bringing awareness to these patterns with compassion rather than judgment or self-blame, you begin to understand yourself more deeply and relate to yourself in a different way. The Compassionate Inquiry approach invites a person to deep dive within and see their little and young self from a place of compassion and love.
Polyvagal Theory was developed by Dr. Stephen Porges. It looks at how the nervous system reacts in different settings and explores the experience of safety and unsafety in the body.
Because each nervous system responds differently, what feels safe for one person may not feel safe for another. At Saya Healing, each session becomes a gate to understand your reactions as a response to unsafety and to explore the root of feeling unsafe even when there is no real threat present.
Conscious Parenting is a parenting methodology developed by Dr. Shefali Tsabary. It is rooted in the belief that a parent’s reaction is often more about their own unhealed wounds than the child’s behaviour.
It is not about correcting a child or teaching parents how to make a child behave. It invites parents to regulate themselves so they can connect with their child and understand what the child needs in moments of challenge.
Mima is a trauma-informed coach. She is a Compassionate Inquiry Certified Practitioner, Polyvagal Theory Certified, and a Conscious Parenting Certified Coach. She is also an Inner Child Healing Practitioner.
Mima works deeply rooted in understanding the inner child. She built her own inner child approach from her healing journey that began when her mother passed away in 2015.
She approaches healing from a place of patience and compassion. Her motto is: “Healing is like peeling an onion, layer by layer, patiently yet consistently. Sometimes we have to pause because of unbearable tears. Yet, we continue because we need to have the onion.”
Each session gives you space to explore a specific theme, understand the emotional patterns underneath it, and reconnect with your body with more compassion and awareness.

Compassionate Inquiry is a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté. It supports you in exploring what lies beneath your behaviours, emotional responses, coping mechanisms, and recurring patterns of self-protection.
